Escape To Locale

As you know last week I had a jury and midterms, so I was so exhausted and couldn't do any other thing than studying. To get a little break from the rush of it, we had a night out for dinner with my boyfriend.

Bildiginiz üzere geçen hafta juri ve vizelerim vardı, ve çok yorulmustum, çalısmak dısında da hiçbir sey yapamamıstım. Bu yogunluktan biraz uzaklasmak için erkek arkadasımla aksam yemegine çıktık.

We went to Pizza Locale. The concept of the place was so similar what I needed and the question was the one I keep asking myself nowadays. They tell the story quite nice at their page though if you are curious, I can summarize the story for you:

Two university friends from Izmir, get into corporate business though they ask the question "why?" to the rat race of the business and decided to escape and go locale. That's where the name comes from.

I love these kinds of stories though for these to happen, it needs great confidence, great dreams, and great personalities. I'm in a place in life where I can't find this much confidence and question my dreams though I think and hope to overcome these obstacles. As one of my dear teachers says "The goal should bold, precise and clear enough."

So let's hope for all of us, this is the escape from the rush and we can listen what we want and go for that bold dream.

Pizza Locale'e gittik. Mekanın konsepti, ihtiyacım olan seye çok benzerdi ve soru, bu aralar benim de kendime sıkça sordugum bir soruydu. Kendi sayfalarında hikayeyi gerçekten iyi anlatıyorlar ama merak ederseniz, sizin için özetleyebilirim:

Iki İzmirli üniversite arkadası kurumsal is hayatlarına atılmıslar ama is hayatının karmasasına "neden?" sorusunu yöneltmisler ve böylelikle bundan kacmaya ve lokale yönelmeye karar vermisler. Mekanın adı da buradan geliyor.

Bu tarz hikayeleri çok seviyorum ama bunun olması için büyük cesaret, büyük hayaller ve büyük kisilikler gerekiyor. Hayatımın, bu cesareti bulamadıgım ve hayallerimi sorguladıgım bir dönemindeyim ama bu engelleri asabilecegimi düsünüyor ve umuyorum. Benim için degerli olan hocalarımdan birinin dedigi gibi "Hedef yeterince büyük, kesin ve net olmalı."

Hepimiz için umalım ki, bu karmasadan bir kaçıs olsun ve hepimiz ne istedigimizi dinleyebilelim ve bu büyük hayalimizin pesinden gidebilelim.
