New Hair Color

As you know my hair dyes have arrived, not Arctic Fox. I ordered Manic Panic; Blue Steel and Virgin Snow.

Bidiginiz gibi boyalarım geldi, Arctic Fox degil. Manic Panic; Blue Steel ve Virgin Snow siparis etmistim.

Both brands are vegan and cruelty free which means they do not use harmful and harsh chemicals and they do not harm animals. Plus, Arctic Fox donates %15 of their profits to stop animal cruelty.

My favorite hair dye brand is Arctic Fox because, they donate their profits, cheaper and long lasting, highly pigmented, easy to remove from skin, has 2 different bottle sizes, smells amazing (it's been like 10 months that I've got Arctic Fox Purple Rain and Transylvania and they still smell amazing.). The owner of the brand is Kristen Leanne. The only problem I have (which is not actually related with the brand) is I can't order because it won't get through the customs.

Manic Panic is also a vegan and cruelty free brand and the brand is really developed through the years. There are lots of color choices. The reason I prefer Arctic Fox over Manic Panic mostly related with the money. With the same ml's Arctic Fox's price is the half of Manic Panic's and Arctic Fox stays in hair twice as long as Manic Panic does.

Before getting the part about dying, I need to say that I didn't use Manic Panic till long time and as I said Arctic Fox is highly pigmented and my hair is gotten long. I've ordered 1 bottle of Blue Steel and 1 bottle of Virgin Snow, however they didn't cover up my whole hair. That's why I needed to use Purple Rain (Arctic Fox) (which I had some left from earlier hair dyes.)

Let's get to the bleaching part:

As you know my roots need to be bleached. The first thing to do before bleaching your hair is choosing a t-shirt that you don't care even it's ruined and taking out of the room things that can be dyed such as rugs.

I used Redist Bleaching Powder, Gürbent Perocide 30 and for getting rid of the reddish tones, Baco's purple shampoo.

First I put some Redist Bleaching Powder. I can't tell you exactly how much because I just decide the amount by mixing them.

Later on I put some Gülbent Peroxide 30. We need to get a mixture which in between liquid and solid.

Sonra Gülbent Peroxide 30'u döküyorum. Karısımın kıvamı, sıvı ve katı arasında olmalı.

Because my original hair is dark brown, when I bleach my hair it turns something reddish. To avoid that reddish color I use Baco's purple shampoo.

Kendi saç rengim koyu kahverengi oldugu için saçımı açtıgımda kırmızımsı bir renge dogru açılıyor. Bunu engellemek için Baco'nun mor sampuanını kullanıyorum.

And mix them altogether. The important thing here is how long should the bleach last in your hair. If you have dark hair like me and if you want to bleach your hair to something like platinum, you should be aware that you can't bleach your for the first time, because the bleach shouldn't stay at your hair more than 1 hour. Even if your hair is not the color you wanted after 1 hour, you should rinse the bleach not to harm your hair and you should regularly check your hair to see if it's healthy and it got the color that you've wanted.

Ve hepsini karıstırıyorum. Önemli nokta açıcının saçta ne kadar duracagı. Eger saçınız benimki gibi koyu kahverengiyse ve platin gibi bir renge açmak istiyorsanız bunun bir seferde olamayacagını anlamanız gerekir, çünkü açıcının saçta 1 saatten fazla kalmaması gerekir. 1 saatten sonra da saçınzın rengi istediginiz renge gelmediyse, yine de saçınıza zarar vermemek için saçınızı yıkamanız gerekir ve düzenli olarak saçınızın saglıklı olup olmadıgını ve istediginiz renge gelip gelmedigini görmek gerekir.

I was so anxious when I was dying because the blue wasn't enough and I panicked a little, however I love the end result. I couldn't take myself to combine some outfit with my new hair color.

Mavi boya bütün saçıma yetmedigi için çok stresliydim ve biraz panikledim, ama son halini çok sevdim. Kendimi yeni saçımla bir kombin yapmaktan alıkoyamadım.
